It's All Fun and Games Until Somebody Gets Hurt
Most people acknowledge that gaming is a favorite leisure pastime of many age groups of both genders. But as with everything there is always some type of drawback. Although not a serious problem experienced by the whole gaming community, many gamers have experienced certain health problems among which are Carpal Tunnel, muscle fatigue, and sleep deprivation.
Trigger Finger Trigger Finger is another injury associated with gaming. Trigger finger is the popular name of stenosing tenosynovitis, a painful condition in which a finger or thumb locks when it is bent (flexed) or straightened (extended). This injury is more associated with professional gamers who play and move their fingers at high speeds and, sometimes, weird angles. This isn't something a casual gamer has to worry about.

Such Health Problems are a Thing of the Past
Through innovation and ergonomic design controllers have become more player friendly causing less health issues every year. Soon gaming controllers will have the most perfect design which will fit for every player; aesthetically and in functionality. Crude, square, designs have been replaced with a rounded, smooth, shape that is molded to have a natural fit to almost any gamer's hand. Awkward button positions, weird extra handles and unnecessary sticks and d-pads, have either been eliminated or have been modified and moved to the most optimal locations to fit all possible functions required during game play.
